Patreon is a subscription-based platform that lets professional content creators, massive businesses, and everyone in between receive direct payment for their content, products, and services. It’s an amazing way for writers to connect with their readers and offer them exclusive content.

Why Patreon?

I’m always immersed in my work and books, and some of you want to participate and witness the process. I’m brimming with ideas. So, I figured, let’s try it!

And I won’t try to sugarcoat it, being an indie writer in 2025 is hard. Between all publishing expenses and my taxes, the Amazon boycotts, the K.U rates… by the end of the day, I’m barely making a living (more like surviving). But I would love to have funds to commission artists. I want to flood the internet with art of my characters and books. All the money raised by my Patreon will be invested directly back into my work. And in time, hopefully hire narrators for audiobooks!

I want to keep on creating forever, and with your help, I might actually make it.

And of course, as a writer, being entirely dependent on Amazon scares me. As the recent boycott has shown us writers, our situation is really precarious. My anxiety is up to the roof, and it feels good to have a ‘real’ place to connect with my readers that isn’t Amazon or Meta apps.

As some of you may already know, I’m French. I don’t have the luxury yet to travel to the US to meet my readers and do conventions. Patreon is pretty much my only way to connect with 80% of my readership, North Americans (the rest of the world, I love you too!)
